Kol Shalom member Dr. Martin Heisler, will be the main presenter.  Martin was born in Budapest and came to the US in 1960, so he has first-hand experience with that dark period in Europe.  He’s a professor emeritus of Political Science, and is the author of a chapter of Life from the Ashes: Social Science Careers ofYoung Holocaust Refugees and Survivors. a copy of which he donated to the KS library.  He has also co-authored, edited, or co-edited six books and published many journal articles..so we’ll be hearing from an excellent source!
