Darfur Oregon Food Bank | SW Community Health Center | MACG | Darfur | Election Reform The Darfur Action Group was formed by interested members of the Social Action Committee. Our major ongoing project is the Postcard Brigade which enables subscribers to advocate for the cessation of genocide in Darfur. We are also continuing to fund solar ovens (pictured right) for families in the refugee and IDP camps, having doubled our initial goals. Our overall efforts have been enhanced by supporting the projects of international organizations: Jewish World Watch, the Enough Project and Stop Genocide Now. On the local level, we work together with other congregations, strengthening our efforts to end the genocide in Darfur. If you are interested in this cause, we hope to hear from you.
